Tish Malloy - Senior Pastor

Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Tish Malloy was born in Boston, MA and grew up there until her family moved to Lakeland, FL when she was in her teens.  She graduated from Stetson University in Deland, FL and went from there to Penn State University, not to go to school but to work in campus ministry which she did for three years.  Through that experience she became convinced that God was calling her to serve the church as an ordained minister so she moved to Kansas City, MO to attend seminary at Saint Paul School of Theology where she met her husband David Nichols.  Dave and Tish have five young adult children, Charmaine, James, Sarah, John and the late Shawn Bell.

Rev. Malloy was ordained in 1984.  Before being appointed to First Church in 2006, she served as a hospital chaplain, an associate in one church and a senior pastor of two churches, and as the Director of OK Volunteers in Mission.

While she’s been the Senior Pastor of First Church Rev. Malloy has led the church to reach out in many ways through local and global missions and has begun a new contemporary service.  She has also urged us to be the parent congregation of the new United Methodist congregation – CrossTimbers and has led us in the capital campaign “Building Tomorrow’s Ministries Today” which will make it possible for First Church to build a new Christian Life Center.

She looks forward to sharing the gospel and loving God’s people!

Amy Graves - Director of Christian Education

Amy was born September 6,1979 in Oklahoma City. She married John Graves on September 28, 2002.

She has attended FUMC of Moore since 1982. She considers herself blessed to be able to call this church and it's family her home. She graduated  from OCU in 2000 as a Cum Laude with a BA in Religious Education and a minor in Adult and Juvenile corrections. She began working at FUMC of Moore full time in June of 2000 as the Education Director. Throughout her time here at the church she has enjoyed going on mission trips to Louisiana, Georgia, Colorado, Mexico, and Alaska. John and Amy continue living in Moore and calling this Church their home.

Her dream for this church is to have an exceptional Children's Sunday School Program.  Her favorite thing that has happened since she has been at this church is the completion of Rotational Sunday School wing.

Richelle Leibold - Director of Welcome and Outreach Ministries

Our family moved from the east coast to Moore, Oklahoma in 1993. This church family opened their doors, welcomed us with warm hearts and created ‘home’ for us. We are proud to call everyone at Moore First United Methodist Church family and this church our ‘home’.

I graduated from Immaculata College with a Bachelors in Home Economics and a year later became a Registered Dietitian. I continue to maintain my status as a Registered Dietitian and consult part time but 11 years ago felt a strong calling by God to serve Him in a new and different way. In 1998, I was employed by this church to serve as Youth Director. Over the years, I have been blessed by many youth, their families and wonderful experiences.

One of my favorite times of the year is summer when the youth are out of school as it allows us more time and opportunities to grow in Christ likeness. I have been able to lead mission experiences from inner city Baltimore, Md. to a Native American Reservation in South Dakota to a town in Honduras and many places in between.
As the years have passed we have seen a need to expand our ministry to reach teens after they graduate high school so my position is now Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. I truly feel blessed to be called by God, to serve Him fully and be a member of this church staff and family.
