Cub Scout Pack 291  No Scout Left Behind

Pack 291
No Scout Left Behind
No Scout Left Behind is a program that started in 2004 by Pack 291. Eligible families can receive up to 100% of the cost needed to start. The start up cost can include:
  • Registration
  • Boys Life
  • Uniform
  • Handbook
  • Den/Pack fees (only if joined after the Popcorn fundraiser)
  • 1 camping experience (only if joined after the Popcorn fundraiser)
After a Scout has joined he will then have the opportunity to participate in at least one of many fundraiser events. Our fundraisers allow Scouts to raise money to defer the cost of Scouting. The No Scout Left Behind fund is replenished by selling food in the Pit Stop Cafe during the Pinewood Derby.

Cub Scout Promise: I promise to do my best to do my duty To God and my country, To help other people,   And to obey the Law of the Pack.

Law of the Pack

The Cub Scout follows Akela. The Cub Scout helps the pack go. The pack helps the Cub Scout grow. The Cub Scout gives goodwill.

Cub Scouts is for boys 1st through 5th grade!

What We Promise

The BSA prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes

by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

When you join the Boy Scouts of America, Scouting is like an extension of your family:

It follows your values, it sees to the overall care and well-being of your child, and it’s always there for you. It’s not an either/or choice you have to make for your child. It works with you to let you manage your time and other activities and will always be there when you return

Our Scouts come from several Schools, such as:  Central, Winding Creek, Northmoor, Briarwood, Sooner, St John’s Lutheran, Apple Creek, and Red Oak; however, EVERYONE is welcome!

We meet every Tuesday that school is in session at 7:00pm.

The last Tuesday of each month we hold our Pack meetings.  ALL family members are invited and encouraged to come.  The boys receive the awards and recognitions that they have earned during the month.

Each Scout belongs to a Den: 1st Grade-Tigers; 2nd Grade-Wolves; 3rd Grade-Bears; 4th/5th Grade-Webelos
